Sept 24th 2006 pedal box, subframes and it on its wheels again
One of the rear quarters was not great, I could see undercoat through the paint in full sunlight so shot it again.
Installed the steering rack and column, The pedal box was badly distorted when I took it out and I had got it back to the correct shape but the way the column bracket didn't seem to connect to the pedal box worried me. In the end I realised that a bracket that spans the two forks was missing and fabricated one, still seems
cockeyed though!
Installed the subframes and its looking good, in a tall way!
Next was the headliner, not an easy job and I'm not happy with the fit around the sunroof, I'll need to get a new headliner.
