Aug 29th 2006 Roof and interior painted
Did the backs of the doors, bonnet and boot and painted roof white, Then got the car on its side for the last time and topcoated the underside, now thats done my spraying skills should be good enough to do the roof. I then did a final block sand of the rest of the body, all looks good for the topcoat now. The paint I am using is PPG Omni MTK (now Shopline) Its a 2pack so fresh air respirator is needed and a lot cheaper than the PPG stuff. Its looking great but I have to be careful as runs are a real problem. I managed to get a small one on the roof but it sanded out fine. The weather then turned on me and its rained almost every day for a week, the humidity is up and I am waiting for a break to finish this off.
