Aug 7th 2006 filler and undercoat
2 months on and some slow progress, temperatures touching 100 deg F with high humidity tends to keep you indoors huddling around the airconditioner. But did get the bodywork filler done and another coat of epoxy over the top, then I applied the 3M Rocker schutz to the underside. The biggest question here was how much would I need, in the end 5 cans did the job. In between honey-do jobs I managed to get all of my small parts sandblasted and painted with hammerite, rebuilt all of the hydraulics and suspension parts. Everything is ready to go back together, I just need to clean out the garage (Its covered in filler and paint dust) and wait for some decent painting weather. Meanwhile my attic seems to be pretty full of Mini parts!!
