May 26th 2006 Off to see the stripper..
All work stopped, I got pretty sick again shortly after my return from Germany (My wife says its all the beer I drink over there... Naaahhhh!) and though my illness is not
serious it robs me of every spare bit of energy I have. I had to search around a bit to find a media stripper that would take on a full bodyshell, even one as small as a mini but in the end found a company called ProBlast who did a great job and turned the shell round the same day,
highly recommended. They are located in lower Delaware, have no website but see the parts suppliers page for details. Quite pleased with my panel repairs as seen in the pics below.
This illness means a change in plan. I had hoped to get the bodyshel fully painted by this time and my wife has big plans for me on the home improvement front so all I plan to do now is get the epoxy primer on.
By Memorial day weekend I found the energy and the time to do final sanding and repairs and I was ready to go. As soon as a nice day turned up I managed to get a full couple of coats of epoxy on the car, so I can relax, if doing the home improvements is relaxing.....
