New(er) door fitted, and Interior cleaned up a bit, its better than I thought under that grime!! Engine was
running real rough and found that the distributor shaft was flopping around so installed electronic ignition.
It ran better so set timing and it was really jumping around when the vacuum hose was connected, so left it off and plugged it.
played for endless hours with electrical connections, it seemed that as soon asI fixed one bad light, another turned up!!
Went out for a blast around the backroads and it all came flooding back

The Exhaust was blowing a bit so spent countless hours trying to get the manifold to exhaust flange to seal,

The only way I could get the clamp and all its bits on was to weld the bolt, washers and all together so that I could get it started with the one arm I could get down there.
by the time I got it sealed the stress had split the exhaust pipe near the muffler, ...Bugger... I had to go and weld a bit of pipe in there to fix it.
in the end got the car inspected and its now legal so I can thrash it around the backwoods scaring all the deer (hopefully....)
Cleaned engine and fixed some oil leaks then Took the car to a show in Lancaster, it was the tattiest mini there by far.
